After iQOO Neo 9 Pro, iQOO’s one more handset has received the new software FunTouch OS update that brings with it performance improvements, the latest security patch, and more. This smartphone is iQOO 12 which has received the update that can be identified as firmware version PD2307BF_EX_A_14.0.13.0.W30. It has a download size of 314MB that can easily be downloaded over a cellular network as the size of the update is not that big.

An X user named Vivek Gupta has shared the screengrab of receiving the update on his handset which he says is an iQOO 12 smartphone. As per the changelog, the new update integrates the May 2024 Google security patch in order to improve the system security. The update also removes the smart sidebar’s background video listening capability. It optimizes the system performance, stability smoothness, and UI display in some languages. Some issues like a slow response, switching the font style, and third-party display in small window mode have also been fixed. Additionally, the update enhances the stability of the MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) and Super-resolution features.
