Is WhatsApp not working for your device? WhatsApp has given solutions

The messaging app of WhatsApp is used widely in countries like India and all around the world. However, there are countries where the app is banned or devices where the app has stopped working.

This may be because of a government policy or when the device model gets too old and outdated. Recently, WhatsApp stopped working in nearly 50 devices which also included iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c. In which cases, people have been complaining to WhatsApp about the same issue.

In order to answer people’s problems, WhatsApp tweeted to let the users know about some of the proxy apps that they can use instead of WhatsApp. WhatsApp tweeted to claim that they “continue to fight for your right to communicate freely and privately.”

“Now, when connecting to WhatsApp directly is not possible, you can stay connected around the world through a server set up by volunteers and organizations dedicated to helping others communicate freely,” tweeted WhatdApp.

WhatsApp also answered the privacy concerns immediately claiming that when connecting to WhatsApp via proxy the personal messages will remain protected by end-to-end encryption.

WhatsApp gave the link to access a proxy here:

Other than that, the company also gave out an option for the users to create a proxy themselves for their friends or family.

Here’s how you can learn to set a proxy up here:
