Apple first shifted production and now it is to open flagships stores in India for which it has started hiring
India is now soon going to witness Exclusive Apple stores according to some media reports. The report further states that Apple has already started the hiring process for the same and is looking forwards to opening its first store in the month of March 2023.
Apple was all geared up in 2021 to open up its first store but due to covid-19 restrictions, the plans were extended for 2023.
Where will these stores be at?
According to a report from FT which states that Apple may soon open its stores in New Delhi and Mumbai. It is also evident as these are the two main cities of the country. If we talk about the size of the stores these are going to be around 10,000 – 12,000 square feet which are going to be in Delhi.
However, in Mumbai, it will be about 22,000 square feet, scheduled to open first. To make it possible for buyers to buy Apple products directly from Apple without visiting Apple premium resellers it opened online stores in India.
