Reports Reveal that Vince McMahon has Sold WWE to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund

Reports are now revealing that the American Professional Wrestling Promotion, WWE has been sold to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.

Vince McMahon Sells WWE

Stephanie McMahon the Co-CEO and the Chairwoman of WWE has stepped down from her position and her father, Vince McMohan has now returned again as the Chairman of WWE.

Vince had previously resigned from the Chairman position in July of 2022 and it is after this that he is returning to the same position.

For quite a while. Vince also had to face an investigation launched by WWE for his sexual misconduct. A report in the Wall Street Journal also reveals that Vince had spent more than $12 million to cover up his sexual misconduct.

Vince McMahon, who is also the controlling shareholder of WWE, had said that he would sell the company after he returns back and now as per the report by the DAZN pro wrestling reporter, Steven Muehlhausen, Vince has sold the company.

The company has been sold to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund by which the company has become a private business and is off the public stock market.

The company was previously owned by the McMohan family and went public on the 3rd of August, 1999.

Stephanie McMahon’s husband, Paul “Triple H” Levesque will continue his position as the chief content officer of WWE and Nick Khan will become the sole CEO of the company for now.
