POCO Users Complaint about Update Delays
POCO smartphones form a very widely selling brand of Xiaomi in India. They provide some of the best mid-range smartphones and are equipped with the necessary features and functions efficiently.
However, there have been complaints regarding the company’s update delays. A user of Twitter called out the tech YouTubers and brand faces to answer the question and raise concerns about the issue.
The users mention how POCO does not provide updates to its devices in time. The latest model POCO F4 has not received an update since August and currently runs in the August security patch. Also, the fact that it does not currently support Jio 5G while it promised to do so before.
In addition to this, many users found their voice to mention their own concerns and showed us the reality of how their POCO devices have been functioning.
Replying to this, Himanshu_POCO on Twitter, who is the country head of POCO India, said that the update is being tested with selected users and that the company will soon start rolling the update out in the smartphones.
The assurance was something but the user mentioned how this same information has been regulated for months but no exact time frame has been provided for the update.
