Xiaomi 13 Ultra wired, wireless charging capabilities tipped

Xiaomi 13 Ultra is likely to support 90W wired and 50W wireless charging

Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra for the Chinese market. Speculations are rife that it will debut at some point in Q2 2023 in China and global markets. The rumor mill is gradually leaking information about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has tipped the charging capabilities of the device.

The “131” number in the Weibo post points to the M1, which is the shortened model number for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. As per the previously seen IMEI database listing, the 2304FPN6DG and 2304FPN6DC are the respective model numbers for the global and Chinese variants of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra charging leak

Coming back to the DCS’ latest leak on the 13 Ultra, it further reveals that it supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. To recall, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which debuted in July 2022, offered 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Other reports have revealed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have an E6 AMOLED QHD+ 120Hz display with curved edges and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The highest variant of the device is expected to offer 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. It will have the same 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch camera that was first seen on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

The 13 Ultra is expected to launch in April in China. As far as pricing is concerned, it is likely to remain the same as its predecessor. To recall, the base variant of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which offered 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, was priced at CNY 5,999 (~$890). Hence, the 13 Ultra may arrive with a similar price tag.
