BCCI approves Jio’s request to broadcast IPL in 4K video resolution : Here’s what we know so far

Now, Jio Cinema and Sports 18 are set to broadcast IPL matches in 4K video resolution. This will enhance the viewing experience of many. Earlier, 1080 p HD video resolution was used in order to broadcast the IPL matches by Hotstar. In the year 2022, it was the official partner for airing IPL matches.
The 4K resolution will bring in a revolution due to its top-notch and uncompromised quality. It is truly 4 times better than the 1080 p HD resolution.
While Jio-led brands are always working on improving their technical abilities, they strive to be the best in the market. The Jio-led brands are also working on fixing technical glitches if any. Prior to this, they streamed the FIFA 2022 matches wherein a few issues were encountered. So, the upgradation will be a move to observe.
