Yet, again we are still not over with the Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch and now new information has been revealed. Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is on its way to a global launch as we discovered it on the Global Certification Forum Website. According to the listing, this smartphone is going to be 5G enabled. Samsung Galaxy A54 has recently been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website also.

How we came to know that this is Samsung Galaxy A54 5G?

While researching for new smartphone information, we saw this listing with a model number SM-A546B/DS. And by further digging in we found that this model number corresponds to Samsung Galaxy A54 5G through various leaks. The listing also showed us that this is registered today itself which is the 9th of February 2023.

The listing also revealed that it will support 5G EN-DC (NSA) and 5G NR (SA). For those who don’t know what is 5G EN-DC (NSA) and 5G NR (SA), let us explain a bit about these.

5G NR(SA)

5G NR’s standalone (SA) mode refers to the use of 5G cells for both signaling and information transfer. It incorporates the new 5G Packet Core architecture, rather than relying on the 4G Evolved Packet Core, to enable 5G deployment without the LTE network.

5G EN-DC (NSA)

ENDC, or E-UTRAN New Radio – Dual Connectivity, is a Non-Standalone (NSA) feature that allows mobile devices to access both 5G and 4G LTE networks simultaneously, allowing carriers to reap the benefits of both network technologies.
