Three Motorola Devices Receives the Bluetooth SIG Certification, reveals Motorola Edge Plus(2023) is on its way

Motorola has received the Bluetooth SIG certification for three of its smartphones. The model numbers of the smartphones have also been revealed with the certification.

The Bluetooth SIG listing has revealed that three Motorola devices which include the Motorola Edge+ 2023, Motorola Edge 40 Pro, and the Moto X40 have received the Bluetooth SIG certification.

No other details about the smartphones have been revealed with the certification other than the model numbers of the respective smartphones.

Of the three smartphones, the Moto X40 has already been released in China and we have the full specifications of the device available. The device has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification with a model number of XT2301-5.

The Moto X40 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset which has a primary clock speed of 3.2 GHz. The device operates on the Android 13-based MYUI 5.0 custom user interface and has the Adreno 740 GPU.

It also features a 6.7″ OLED display which has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 165Hz.

On the rear, the smartphone has a triple rear camera with a 50MP wide camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. On the front, it also has a 60MP wide camera for selfies.

The device is also equipped with a 4600 mAh battery which can support a wired fast charge feature of upto 125W and a wireless fast charge feature of upto 14W. It also supports 5W reverse charging as well.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has appeared on the certification with model number XT2301-4. The device had also received the TDRA and EEC certifications prior to this. Reports also reveal that the smartphone might be a rebranded Moto X40 smartphone

The smartphone is expected to come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset itself and will have a primary clock speed of 3.2 GHz. It is also expected to have the Adreno 740 GPU.

The device is also expected to have an OLED display which is likely to have a screen size of 6.67 inches and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels along with a refresh rate of 165Hz.

On the rear, the smartphone is expected to have the same triple camera setup which we saw in the Moto X40 smartphone with a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. On the front, it is likely to have a 60MP selfie camera as well.

The smartphone will also probably have a 4600 mAh battery which will support the 125W fast charge feature.

There is however no reliable information about the Motorola Edge+ 2023 available other than the model number of the smartphone. As per the listing on the Bluetooth SIG certifications website, the Motorola Edge+ 2023 which is about to launch will be having a model number of XT2301-1.
