The Launch of the MIUI 14 is Almost Near: Here are the Expected Features on the New Custom UI

Xiaomi for the past 12 years has been revising and making upgrades and improvements to its MIUI custom user interface and the latest MIUI 14 is nearing its launch.

Xiaomi MIUI 14 is Launching Soon

Through Xiaomi’s official Twitter handle for its MIUI custom user interface, the company has revealed the news that the MIUI 14 custom user interface is going to be launched soon. Previous reports had suggested that Xiaomi might be planning to release its new custom UI at the time of Xiaomi’s 12th anniversary celebrations which might take place in the early days of August, 2023 but with the recent update, the launch might take place much sooner.

For 12 years, MIUI has been committed to boosting the industry progress, and deepening the collaboration between software and hardware from new perspectives.

Here’s what to expect in the new MIUI 14 custom user interface

From what is now known, the MIUI 14 will be bringing a new set of customizable home screen icons which can be customized into four different sizes. Larger home screen folders will also be part of the new MIUI 14 custom UI.

MIUI 14 also brings a much more faster and quicker animation while closing an app in the app folder. Some new widgets and home screen pets and plants has also been added as part of the new custom UI.

The sound recorder app has also been totally redesigned and the messenger app will be updated to version 14 with the new MIUI 14. The compass app and calculator app has also been redesigned and a new lite mode has been added to MIUI 14 home screen. The app vault has also been redesigned and the camera and gallery apps will be able to identify texts with the new custom UI.

New pop-up permissions and home screen settings are also part of the new custom UI. As a security feature, in incognito mode, users will also not be able to do screen recording on their device.

So with the latest MIUI 14 update, Xiaomi is planning on improving and bringing some significant changes to its MIUI custom user interface.
