Vivo X Fold 2 may be the first foldable phone in market to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset

Vivo is best known for its fast performance and awesome design. But this time it has surpassed all the limits. A tipster Debayan Roy wrote on Twitter

“Vivo X Fold 2 :
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
4800 mAh battery
120W charging
It might be the first foldable phone with 8 Gen 2”

This is going to be a big advantage for the Vivo foldable phone over other foldable phones that are already present there in the market. Along with the fast processor it also brings a 4800mAh battery which supports a 120W charger. Its predecessor Vivo X Fold and its upgraded version Vivo X Fold+ came with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. But both of the devices have not yet been released in the market outside of China. If we talk about other features of this phone the Vivo X Fold packs a 4,600 mAh battery with 66W fast charging.

The Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to feature a 2K resolution display and probably will be the world’s first phone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset if it comes out to be true. It’s likely to come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Other than this information there is not much available so far about this.
