Walking Dead’s Rick and Michonne spinoff marks shooting start

Rick and Michonne spinoff has indeed begun filming. This has been proved by Twitter that has provided a plethora of leaked images and rumoured filming locations in New Jersey. In fact, a very recent tweet stating the same has been tweeted officially by Discussing Film. The tweet was shared with images, with the news that Andrew Lincoln (Rick) and Danai Gurira (Michonne) are back on set as their story begins!

The six-episode limited series began filming in New Jersey last week.

The AMC network (an American multinational basic cable television channel) has in fact announced that the upcoming limited series featuring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira’s characters from The Walking Dead has officially begun filming. They officialised the start of production on the series, which remains untitled, by sharing two new behind-the-scenes images on Twitter.

While one image shows the stars’ chairs with their respective character names on them, the other image offers fans their first official look at The Walking Dead Universe series, promising them that Lincoln’s Rick Grimes will finally be reunited with Gurira’s Michonne.

It’s been amazing news for fans that several years apart, Rick and Michonne are finally getting back together.
