Apple Teases iPhone 14 and 14 Plus in New Yellow Color: Is There Anything Special About It?

Apple fans can now get excited as the tech giant has officially confirmed that the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus will soon be available in a brand-new yellow color. According to an announcement on the Apple Newsroom, pre-orders for the new devices will open on March 10th and shipping will begin on March 14th.

However, it’s important to note that the yellow color option will only be available for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models in the 14 series.

Is There Anything Special About It?

But the question on everyone’s mind is whether this new yellow color will come with any special features or specifications. After carefully reading the official post, it seems that everything will be similar to the already available iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models. The only difference will be that it will come with iOS 16 out of the box.

Pricing for the iPhone 14 in yellow will start at $799, while the plus version will cost $899. Apple is also offering a trade-in program for those interested in upgrading their current device. The website states that customers can save anywhere from $200 to $600 when trading in their iPhone 11 or later models. However, if you already own an iPhone 14 or 14 Plus, you can receive up to $800 worth of trade-in value from Apple.

In addition to the new yellow color, Apple is also releasing four new silicone case colors for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus: canary yellow, olive, sky, and iris. Additionally, customers who purchase the iPhone 14 or 14 Plus will receive a three-month free subscription to Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness+.

Overall, it seems that the addition of the yellow color variant to the iPhone 14 series is simply a cosmetic change, with all features and specifications remaining the same. However, the trade-in program and free subscription offers may be enticing to those considering upgrading their current device.
