Xiaomi’s Redmi Smart Fire TV has Launched in India: Here’s More About it

Xiaomi has launched the latest Redmi Smart Fire TV in India and the sales of the device are to begin starting from the 21st of March, 2023.

The latest Redmi Smart Fire TV is equipped with a Quad core Cortex A35 CPU along with a Mali G31 MP2 GPU. It also has a RAM of 1GB and an internal storage of 8GB as well. The device also operates on the Fire OS 7 operating system, enabling its users to open doors to an entertainment world with access to more than 12,000 apps including Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney+Hotstar.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV also features a premium metal bezel-less design with a display screen size of 32 inches and a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The device also offers a refresh rate of 60Hz and has a viewing angle of 178 Degrees. The Redmi smart TV is also equipped with a Vivid Picture Engine which will be able to deliver 16M colours with excellent depth, saturation, and contrast. The smart TV also has a 20W inbuilt speaker which supports Dolby Audio, DTS-HD and DTS Virtual X.

Now speaking about the connectivity options, the device supports Airplay, Miracast, dual band Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth connectivity support of version 5.0. Connectivity ports provided on the device includes two USB 2.0 ports, an ethernet port, an AV port, two HDMI ports, an earphone port and an antenna port.

Other features includes access to live TV channels, parental control, data monitoring and voice remote with Alexa. The device is also wall mountable. The box will include the Redmi Smart Fire TV, the remote controller along with two AAA sized batteries, the user manual, the stand and the screws for assembling.

As mentioned, the sales of the Redmi Smart Fire TV will begin from the 21st of March 2023 at 12PM onwards and will be available at a launch price of Rs. 11,999 from its actual list price of Rs. 13,999.
