Huawei Watch 4 Pro Receives Bluetooth SIG Certification: Here’s More About it
Huawei had introduced its Watch 3 series devices on the 11th of June, 2021 and its being two years since the brand has introduced another lineup following the Watch 3 series. Now reports have revealed that the Chinese company are under the works of the the Watch 4 series devices.
The Huawei watch 4 will comprise of two smartwatches – Huawei Watch 4 and the Watch 4 Pro and rumours also reveal about a Huawei Watch 4 Ultimate, which cannot be confirmed yet.
One of the smartwatches in the series, the Huawei Watch 4 Pro has now appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification website indicating that the device is nearing its launch.
Huawei Watch 4 Pro Receives Bluetooth SIG Certification
The Huawei Watch 4 Pro had previously appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification in two model numbers – MDS-Al10 and MDS-AL00 and one of the variants has now appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification.
The smartwatch which appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification has a model number of MDS-AL00 and has been listed with a declaration ID of D062283. The certification also reveals that the upcoming smartwatch will support a Bluetooth version of 5.2.
As mentioned, previously the Huawei Watch 4 Pro and the Huawei Watch 4 appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification revealing some details about the upcoming smartwatches.
The Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro are assigned the codenames, Arch and Medusa respectively and the acronyms ARC and MDS which you will find in the model numbers of the two devices are the acronyms to the codenames of the respective devices.
The Huawei Watch 4 Pro from the certifications it has received will come in two model numbers as mentioned above while the Huawei Watch 3 is expected to come in only one model number (ARC-AL00). The Huawei Watch 4 had also appeared on China’s 3C certification as well.
Some leaked information has also now revealed that the upcoming two device are going to be made with Zircon material which is four times stronger than steel and will also have a satellite connectivity feature. The upcoming devices is also expected to run on the HarmonyOS 3 and will feature 4G LTE network connectivity, 2.4GHz WiFi along with a 5W fast charging support.
