Top 10 games that will be launched in 2021
There are also some exciting new games for 2021 and beyond, including new generation consoles-Xbox Series X and PS5-as well as PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC, of course. So make sure you add these new titles, as well as the forthcoming Xbox Series X games and upcoming PS5 games to your wish list.
Below mentioned are the top 10 games that will launch in 2020:
- Hitman 3 – Agent 47 returns to Hitman 3 and he’s going to get trapped with his murder contracts on both the next-gen and the current-gen consoles. In what is set to be a dramatic climax to the World Trilogy of Assassination-where players carry out missions around the world in various sandbox locations-Agent 47 is said to have carried out his most personal, professional career deal. IO Interactive also announced the launch of the game in Dubai.
- Little Nightmares 2 – Little Nightmares is having a sequel and Six is back, except this time you’re going to play Mano as a new character who’s going around the world with Six as his guide. Apparently, the universe is rotten from the inside, and Six is fading away. Together, you’re going to have to venture through eerie woodlands and unsettling classrooms to enter the signal tower to attempt to figure out what’s spreading evil to Telev screens. With lots of new challenges to your road and terrible people that would surely not give you a warm welcome, it looks like we’re in for another nightmarish adventure.
- Outriders – The brand-new IP shooter from People Can Run, published by Square Enix, is Outriders. You play as a human being who had to escape from Earth and landed on a world named Enoch. Still, a massive storm called The Phenomenon drives them back into cryostasis. And then, as they wake up, they all find themselves imbued with ridiculous powers. That’s the Crowd Effect that reaches Doom, and we’re in it.
- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake – Ubisoft brings back one of the most memorable games of the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube era with a fresh remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It might seem odd for a studio that’s been around for so long, but this is Ubisoft’s first full-length remake, unlike other games that have only been remastered for newer hardware. That said, The Sands of Time remake is pretty darn true to the original, but with new graphics and gameplay.
- Returnal – The first big PS5 exclusive of the year is also Housemarque’s return to the genre that made a name for itself, blending its patented arcade shoot-em-up theme into a story-driven, third-party adventure for Returnal. You act as Selene, an alien trapped in a hellish Groundhog Day of sorts, struggling desperately to fight her way out of a recurrent death loop.
- Deathloop – The game takes place in the mysterious Black Reef, in what is described as a “time of madness” In the creation of Arkane Lyon, it is clear that our two assassins have very different ideas about their current position. Juliana tries to protect her, while Cole hopes to break away from her never-ending cycle, but all they really do is destroy each other. Over and over again.
- Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart – A brand new Ratchet and Clank adventure from the Insomniac Games is coming at the same time as the PS5, and it’s a dimensional adventure. Dr. Nefarious has got the Dimensionator and is tearing gaps between dimensions, taking our hero pair with him. There will be new gadgets, new worlds, and more to find in Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Away, including a brand-new, downloadable, female Lombax from a separate universe.
- Boyfriend Dungeon – Kitfox Game Boyfriend Dungeon lets you date your guns. It really makes sense. If you think about it, battling side by side in close quarters is the ideal atmosphere for romance to blossom. You get a summer job battling monsters in the “the dunj,” and this is when you find that your arms can be turned into datable singles that just happen to be up for some lovin’.
- Far Cry 6 – Far Cry is coming once again. Set in Yara, described as a “tropical paradise frozen in time” Far Cry 6 sees you play as a local Yaran named Dani Rojas. Taking on the role of a resistance fighter, you set out to overthrow the regime of Anton Castillo. As the chief of Yara, Castillo aims to return the country to its former glory, and he is determined to do so by all means possible.
- Halo Infinite – Holding a mysterious new sub-header and working on a brand-new game engine known as Slipspace, the first Halo Infinite trailer almost seems to suggest the Master Chief’s next adventure will have MMO qualities or at least be more open-ended and sandbox-like in taste. The immediately recognizable shot of his armor also teases a future technical downgrade for everyone’s favorite Spartan, even though the particulars of the story remain threadless for the time being.
