Realme C55 , India’s first Android smartphone to sport Mini Capsule feature , launched in India ; Check the specifications, price and availability
Realme has officially launched its latest C-series smartphone – Realme C55 in India at a launch event that was live-streamed on the company’s social media channels. This smartphone has already made its debut in Indonesia and now the phone has made its way into the Indian market too.
This is the first Android smartphone in India that marks the debut of the Mini Capsule feature which is similar to the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro series. Also as claimed by the brand, C55 is the thinnest phone in the C – series.
Realme C55 : Specifications
The smartphone sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It comes with a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC processor and Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It comes with storage options like 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and up to 128 GB internal storage. It comes with support for upto 16 GB Dynamic RAM.
Realme C55 runs on Android 13-based Realme UI custom skin out of the box. It houses a 5000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The phone packs up a 64MP primary camera, which is a first in the C-series lineup, and with a 2MP depth lens. It comes with an 8MP selfie camera. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C charging port.

The smartphone comes with two color options – Sunshower and Rainy Night. Pre-booking of this smartphone will be starting from 6:30 PM today and the buyers who will be pre-booking this newly launched device will get up to Rs. 1000 exchange bonus during the pre-order duration ( from 21st March – 27th March). It is available in three storage variants :
- 4GB+64GB – Rs. 10,999
- 6GB+ 64GB – Rs.11,999
- 8GB+ 128 GB- Rs. 13,999
Realme C55 will be going on its first sale on March 28 at 12 noon in India with a starting price of Rs. 10,499 and will be available on Flipkart, Realme e-shop, and in offline retail stores.
