Xiaomi Civi 3 design, chipset tipped once again

Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Xiaomi Civi 3, a female-focused smartphone like the predecessor Civi models. In a new Weibo poster, tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly talked about the design and chipset of the Civi 3.

Without specifically mentioning the name of the smartphone, DCS has claimed that it is equipped with a curved-edge screen with a pair of punch-holes in the centre, probably for the dual selfie camera system. He further said that the device is equipped with a plastic middle frame and has an elliptical-shaped triple camera unit on the back.

Aside from saying that the device is powered by a MediaTek MT6896 (Dimensity 8200) chip, he didn’t say anything else about its specs. The details shared by the tipster suggest that the tipster could be talking about the Xiaomi Civi 3.

DCS said in a previous Weibo post that the Xiaomi Civi 3 will have the same 32-megapixel + 32-megapixel dual selfie camera setup as the Civi 2 and a Sony IMX800 primary camera on the back. The screen will support an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

At present, there is no word on the launch date of the Xiaomi Civi 3. There is a possibility that it may debut in the second half of this year.
