Foldable smartphones in the mobile industry recently became a new trend, earlier Samsung used to dominate this segment of the industry as the company introduced it’s a foldable smartphone first. But this is not the case now as to compete with Samsung the other smartphone brands in the market have started introducing their foldable smartphones.
Last month OPPO introduced OPPO Find N2 Flip which was a direct competition to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and now Vivo will soon be unveiling its first clamshell foldable smartphone. Vivo X Flip has started making its appearance on different certification websites which hints at its imminent launch. Reportedly the device will be launched in China and then later on in global markets.
Ahead of its launch, the images of the Vivo X Flip have leaked online which revealed how this upcoming smartphone will look.
Also, the famous tipster digital chat station posted these images on Weibo to describe the design of the Vivo X Flip. The smartphone will arrive with a circular lens module in the upper left corner along with a super large integrated external screen.
The smartphone will make its debut in purple color with a diamond pattern and from the image, it was clear that the device will showcase a pet wallpaper. From the leaked images it can be concluded that the smartphone will give a classy look, will be super easy to hold, and also would be easy to carry in pockets or handbags.
Vivo X Flip: Specifications (Expected)
As per the Geekbench listing it was revealed that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+Gen 1 octa-core processor which will be paired with 12GB RAM. Also, the smartphone was revealed to run Android 13.
The device is expected to feature a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It might house a 4400mAh battery with 44W fast charging and on the outside, the smartphone could pack 50MP main camera and 12MP ultra-wide camera.
Though Vivo has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of this smartphone due to the appearances on certain websites it is expected that Vivo X Flip could make its debut this month only.
