New Samsung tv’s can adapt to room’s lighting

Coming to Samsung's upcoming QLED TV

Recently Samsung has made an announcement that will take us a step forward in space of smart objects. HDR10+ is coming with a new feature that will optimize the TV picture quality based on the room’s brightness. Isn’t it really amazing? Just like our phones, TVs could also adapt to the brightness level of the room, making it comfortable for people to watch it for longer hours.

Here is a comparison between the two-

HDR is designed as such it would look its best when viewed in the dark, a retreat for movie freaks!

Samsung has promised that the feature will launch globally with its upcoming QLED TV’s.

This is not the first time that we would see this feature earlier Dolby announced Dolby Vision IQ, the same feature. Where a TV would optimize HDR content according to the ambient brightness. A similar feature has been seen in selected TVs from LG and Panasonics as well.

HDR 10+ adaptive will work with Filmmaker Mode, a display setting that was launched last year. It will show the motion as smooth and accurate as possible. Though the HDR 10+ is not widely supported over the world Samsung is quite sure about its success. And is supported by a conglomerate company Amazon.

It’s sure that the upcoming QLED TVs will support HDR 10+ but nothing has been said about the existing TVs whether it will be updated or not.
