Unboxing and Review of HP Z3700 Wireless Optical Mouse with USB Receiver (Modern Gold)
For a long time, we had been searching for a good mouse that was sleek, lightweight, and wireless. While searching for it, we kept a few things in mind, namely sleekness, lightweight, and wireless. Although a wired mouse is good, an upgrade is always appreciated.
After looking at many options, we finally found the HP Z3700 Wireless Optical Mouse with USB Receiver (Modern Gold).
Let’s talk about the design language of this mouse first.
The design of this wireless mouse is quite good, and the mixture of gold and black surely gives it a premium look. The mouse has a blue optical light at the bottom and on the top as well, which only lights up when you insert the battery inside it. Another important design feature is that you can fit the receiver inside the mouse itself, which is a nice feature as you don’t have to carry the receiver separately when you move around.
If we talk about the usability of this mouse, the roller is a bit hard. Another thing we noticed is that the compact size may not be suitable for someone who has just switched from a wired mouse. If your hand is used to a bigger mouse, it may take some time for you to adapt to this one. However, the movability is quite good, and you will enjoy working with this beauty. Moreover, you will not hear the traditional click sounds that a mouse makes.
Both the right and left clicks feel smooth. It took some time for us to figure out how to open the battery pack. Just a heads up, you can simply remove the battery cap from the back. There is a small place from where you can lift it up.
What else do we get with this wireless mouse?
You will get an AA Energizer battery and a Bluetooth receiver along with this mouse.
Now let’s talk about the Tech specs of this wireless mouse

Our verdict:
In terms of look and feel, this wireless mouse stands out as a nice option in its price range. However, the black finish looks more prone to scratches, and the mouse roller was a bit hard. Apart from that, this mouse has a good surface reading capacity because of its Blue LED technology. We used this mouse with HP Victus 16 and overall, we really liked the design language and the overall performance of this mouse.
