At the time of its launch, the Redmi Note 12 5G arrived with two storage options only – 6 GB+128 GB and 4 GB+128 GB but now Redmi decided to bring a new storage variant so that the users can get the experience of immersive speed on their devices.

Redmi Note 12 5G: Pricing and availability
The new variant of this smartphone will arrive with a price tag of Rs. 20,499. This device will go on sale on April 20. It will be available for purchase via the official Mi store and offline retail stores. Along with this the consumers using ICICI credit cards or Credit & Debit card EMI options will be getting Rs. 1500 discount and for Xiaomi users additional offers are also available.
The smartphone will be available in three color options – Frosted green, Matte Black and Mystique Blue.
Redmi Note 12 5G: Specifications & Features
The smartphone features 6.67 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 240 Hz. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 octa-core processor. It runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
The device houses a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It sports a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48 MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and 2MP macro camera along with a 13 MP selfie camera.
The other features include an IP53 rating, a 5GB virtual RAM option, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IR Blaster, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.1.
