Apple Beats Studio Buds+ Receives IMDA Certification
The Cupertino-based multinational technology company, Apple after its Beats Studio Buds that was released in 2021, is going to launch the Beats Studio Buds+ with many more added features and upgrades. The upcoming device has now received the IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) certification from Singapore and had also previously received the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification.
On both the certifications, the device has appeared with the model number, A2871, and A2872 and since Apple usually gives its devices for FCC certification days or months prior to its official release, the device is expected to have an imminent launch.
9to5Mac has also shared an image of the upcoming device which shows the Beats Studio Buds+ in a new black color with golden details on it. Speaking of its design, it looks very similar to that of the previous Apple Beats Studio Buds. It is also revealed that the upcoming device will have media controls for play and pause along with a press and hold feature to enable its users to switch between noise-canceling modes.
From its appearance on the iOS 16.4 Release Candidate, the device is also confirmed to come equipped with an Apple chipset, unlike the Beat Studio Buds which has the proprietary Beats chipset. The upcoming device thereby is also going to have features like audio sharing, automatic device switching, and “Hey Siri”.
Here are its FCC certification details.
