Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 received 132 score by DXOMARK based on it’s battery
Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 in India recently and the smartphone offered features at an affordable price range. Though the brand mainly focused on camera performance. But battery life has always been a preference of users nowadays. Hence to test the battery life of the device DXOMARK put the newly launched Redmi Note 12 through a battery test.
The test was conducted to measure its performance in autonomy, charging, and efficiency. As a result, the smartphone scored an overall 132 mark whereas in autonomy 139, in charging terms 120 mark and 137 mark in terms of efficiency .
Although the @Xiaomi #RedmiNote12 5G did well against all the phones in our database, when it was compared to devices from the same Advanced price range ($200-$399), its results were slightly above average.

Redmi Note 12 outperformed its predecessor in autonomy and efficiency although the battery was the same (5000mAh). The battery of this smartphone lasted 2.5 days when used moderately with a power loss of 1% per night. The autonomy was also good while watching videos, streaming music, or gaming.
The time taken to fully charge this device was 1 hour and 12 minutes and the charge efficiency also resulted decently. The device was also concluded to be well optimized as the battery’s discharge currents were low while streaming videos or music and while ongoing calls.
Redmi Note 12 received the 30th position in the global ranking and 14th position in the advanced ranking . Overall the smartphone did well against all the phones in the database according to DXOMARK but when it was compared with devices with the same advanced price range ($200-$399) its results were slightly above average.
