Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 S-Pen Receives the Canadian REL Certification: Here’s More About it

The S-Pen for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 tablet has received the REL(Radio Equipment List) certification from Canada. The device previously had also received the FCC(Federal Communications Commission) certification.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 S-Pen Receives REL Certification

Followed by the FCC certification, the S-Pen for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 appears on the Canadian REL certification website. The device has received the certification with a certification number of 649E-EJPX710 and has appeared with the same model number of EJ-PX710.

From its FCC certification, some of its technical aspects and its internal schematics were known. It will have a DC power supply of 2.40V and will feature Bluetooth LE(Low Energy).

Additionally, the device has also bagged the Bluetooth SIG certification and is to support Bluetooth of version 5.1.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is one of the tablets of Samsung’s Tab S9 series, along with the Galaxy Tab S9+ and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra devices a previous update had also reported that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will also be launched in the series.

Regarding the Galaxy Tab S9, the device is supposed to come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It will likely have the One UI 5.1 custom user interface based on the Android 13 operating system.

The device is also expected to be IP67 water-resistant and is to feature better cameras, AKG-tuned quad speakers, and a fingerprint sensor. From its 3C certification, the device is now confirmed to be backed by an 8160 mAh battery.

Samsung has not yet declared an official launch date for its Galaxy Tab S9 series, but from what is now expected, the device will likely have its launch in the second half of this year.
