Poco F5 Series all set to make its debut on May 9th Globally, but only Poco F5 for India

The Poco F5 series has been making its rounds on social media for quite a while now. After appearing on several certification websites, Poco has officially announced the launch date of its new smartphone, the Poco F5 series. The company recently unveiled that the Poco F5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. The previous Geekbench listing of the Poco F5 also suggested that the smartphone will come with the same processor as announced by the company lately.

Regarding the launch date, it was previously rumored to be launched on April 6th, but it turned out to be a false alarm. As per official information, the company is all set to launch the F5 series in the global market on May 9th. However, it’s worth noting that only the Poco F5 is going to be released in India, not the Pro version.

As per the official information, the company will have an online launch event on Poco’s official website. We believe that when Poco launched only the X5 Pro in India, several users demanded that the X5 should also be launched in India. To address this demand, the Head of Poco India asked the community whether they wanted the launch of the Poco X5 or not. As the majority of the votes were in favor, Himanshu Tandon, Poco India Head, announced that Poco would launch the X5 in India.

The launch of only the Poco F5 is confirmed by the Poco India Head as he tweeted about the Poco F5 only, and didn’t say anything about the Poco F5 Pro.

We speculate that the Poco F5 series may have the same fate as the X5 series in India, but this is just speculation. So far, only the Poco F5 has been confirmed to launch in India, and there is no word about the Poco F5 Pro making its way to India.
