Nothing Phone 1 confirmed to receive Android 14 Beta 1 version update after Pixel series smartphones

Users who were waiting for the announcement of the Android 14 Beta 1 version in smartphones other than Pixel phones have good news to know. Nothing in a press release has confirmed the first beta version of the software will come to its smartphone soon. In the press release, Nothing wrote “Nothing’s product team will have early access to the new Android 14 Beta 1 upgrade to ensure a seamless integration to Nothing OS for a smooth user experience.”

In the statement, the company has not mentioned the time by which Nothing Phone 1 will be receiving this update but it is expected to receive it during Google I/O 2023 next month. Nothing will be the first smartphone after the Pixel series lined up to receive the update. If we talk about the new features that this upgrade will bring it is a redesigned back arrow when you’re using gesture navigation, loyalty card suggestions depending on your location, new PIN animations, and more. The features that this update brings to the smartphone may vary from what was mentioned because the update can be tailored for the Nothing OS software.

Google I/O planned to take place next month can bring some significant information about this new Android upgrade. We might get to know about the manufacturers that will have a beta version of the latest version of Android, new features that this upgrade will bring, and a hands-on experience of this update during the event.
