Punjab Police advises Punjab Kings to keep the encounter to the field

Finally, a responsible answer seems to have come out after a number of tweets intended to troll and make jokes of. This tweet has been made by Punjab Police after being tagged by LSG in which Punjab Police wrote “Police Department is busy handling real cases, kindly refrain from tagging and spamming our notifications.

Advising our team
@PunjabKingsIPL
to not tag UP Police in their tweets, keep the ‘encounter’ to the field.”

So the story starts from the last night’s match when Punjab Kings faced off against Lucknow SuperGiants. It was not a good day for the bowlers of Punjab Kings who suffered in the hands of LSG batters. Batters of the Punjab Kings could also not make it in the last match with Atharva Taide smashing 66 runs in 36 balls, Shikhar Dhawan 1 run in 2 balls and Sam Curran 21 runs in 11 balls.

Though Rahul had to leave the field early with just 12 runs in 9 balls, Mayer and Stoinis did not leave a chance to smash every single ball. Their collective effort made LSG achieve 275 for 5 in 20 overs which is the second-highest total ever recorded in IPL. As soon as LSG won the match it celebrated its win by tagging Punjab Police’s official Twitter account.

LSG posted a photo of a PBKS batter’s middle stump going for a walk with the caption “Hey @PunjabPoliceInd. This is awkward..”

In response to this tweet, Punjab Police made the tweet that we have mentioned above in order to advise its team.

Update: Punjab Police later deleted the tweet
