Motorola Edge 40 Pro Smartphone Awarded the Silver Label For its Camera Performance on DXOMARK
The newly launched Motorola Edge 40 Pro smartphone has now received the Silver label for its camera performance on the DXOMARK independent benchmark website. The camera quality of the smartphone has also been reviewed.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro DXOMARK Listing
DXOMARK is a commercial website that is now being considered an independent benchmark website that scientifically analyses and reviews a smartphone, its cameras, and its lenses. The latest Motorola Edge 40 Pro smartphone has now been listed on the website and its camera quality has been reviewed.
The smartphone has been awarded the DXOMARK Silver label for its camera performance and has scored a camera score of 130 points. The device has also been ranked 32nd in the Global Ranking and in the case of Ultra-Premium Ranking(smartphones priced above $800), has been ranked at the 29th place.
From what has been concluded on the website, Motorola’s Edge 40 Pro smartphone features great cameras which are good for capturing pictures even in low light and at night. The smartphone also is good at capturing great portrait images as well, thanks to its bokeh mode.
However, two cons have also been identified regarding the smartphone’s camera performance. The smartphone only has a limited long-range zoom and in images captured with HDR turned on, lack of contrast on faces has been occasionally noticed.
In detail, the device has scored 133 points in its photo score, 70 points in its bokeh score, 95 points in zoom score, 135 points in video score, and 70 points in its preview score.
The @Moto #Edge40Pro delivered a good performance across most areas of our tests. When shooting still images, subject exposure and white balance were nice in most test conditions, especially in low light and night shots.
