It won’t be wrong to say that TATA has a stronghold on the Indian market when it comes to the electrical vehicle. Nexon EV and Tiago EV are among the top-selling EV from TATA. So if it wants to maintain dominance it will have to keep evolving with time. Tata is already working on Harrier EV and Curvv EV but before that, we might witness another EV from TATA.
We are talking about none other than Punch EV which is more popular than any other EV to be launched in the market. And excitingly this EV has been spotted for the first time. The photos of this EV have been posted by @maxabout.india on their Instagram. The images shared give a sneak peek into the interiors of this EV. We can see AC with manual control and just above it a screen mounted on it. Below the AC vents are a rotary gearbox and an electric parking brake. The leatherette seats with armrests can also be seen in the image.
With the introduction of the electric parking brake that was spotted in the image, we can expect it to bring some of the latest features like wireless charging, and air purifiers.
Expected specs
The Punch EV can continue with the Alfa-Arc platform. It can come with a 73bhp motor paired with the 26 kWh battery pack. Its range can be around 200 km – 250 km. We might see the launch of this EV either by the end of this year or early of next year.
