Lava Agni 2 has finally been launched in India and will be available for sales starting from the 24th of May, 2023 at 10AM onwards. The smartphone has an actual list price of Rs. 21,999 and as part of its launch it is available at a special launch price of Rs. 19,999.

Lava Agni 2
The newly unveiled Lava Agni 2 smartphone is powered by the the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with a primary clock speed of 2.6 GHz and is India’s first smartphone to feature this chipset. The chipset is also made using the TSMC’s 6nm process technology and offers a much better performance at an affordable pricing.
The device also offers a clean Android 13 user experience with zero bloatware in it. The company has also promised the Android 14 and Android 15 updates and will also be providing its users with quarterly security updates for 3 years.
A total RAM of 16GB(8GB inbuilt RAM + 8GB virtual RAM) and an internal storage of 256GB will also be offered in the smartphone.
The smartphone also offers the segment best 5G connectivity with the segment best 13 5G bands and supports DSS and carrier aggregation. It also supports dual SIM 5G connectivity as well.
Now about its design, the smartphone features a stunning 3D dual curve display with a circular camera module at its rear. The device also has the latest 3rd gen 2900 mm^2 Vapour Chamber Cooling technology and features the flagship X-axis linear motor, thereby preventing the device from having any sorts of heating issues.
For its display, the device features a 6.78″ full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display also has a 93.65% screen to body ratio with a 2.3mm lower bezel. It also supports 1.07 billion colours and has a double reinforced glass protection.
Coming to its cameras, the smartphone offers its users a 50MP quad camera setup at its rear, with a segment first 1.0um pixel size sensor.
For advanced security, the smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor along with a fast face unlock feature
Regarding its battery backup, the device is backed by a 4700 mAh battery and support a fast charge feature of upto 66W.
What comes as a surprise is, for the first time ever, a smartphone in this segment is offering a free phone replacement. So no more hardware repairs but a new smartphone itself will be offered.
