Just recently we informed you that a new Redmi smartphone has been spotted on IMDA and EEC certification website which points out that the brand will be soon launching a new smartwatch. Now the same smartwatch has been spotted on the TDRA certification website with model number M2235W1.
From the TDRA website, nothing much was revealed about the upcoming smartwatch just that it will be a low-power and short-range device. While previously it was also revealed that this smartwatch will arrive with Bluetooth connectivity support.
Other than this, nothing more has been revealed about the smartwatch so far, and users might have to wait to learn more about its official name and other specifications. In our previous report, we mentioned that this new smartwatch could potentially be called the Redmi Watch 3 Lite or Xiaomi Watch C. However, it appears that the watch will have different names in different markets. The device’s presence on various certification websites suggests that its debut is imminent.
Hence users can expect that Redmi might soon make an official announcement regarding the launch of the smartwatch soon.
