So far, the rumour mill has revealed a lot of information about the iQOO Neo 8 Pro, which is scheduled to launch on May 23 in China. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station talked about the key specifications of the iQOO Neo 8. Here is a look at what to expect from the smartphone.
According to the tipster, the iQOO Neo 8 will arrive with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, which works at 3.0 GHz. It appears that the device will be equipped with the underclocked version of the chip.
A recent report revealed that the iQOO Neo 8 will ship with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It appears that the highest variant of the device will be equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of native storage. In comparison, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will feature the Dimensity 9200 Plus chip, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.
The iQOO Neo 8 will house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. It will have a 50-megapixel front-facing camera like the Neo 8 Pro. While the Pro model has the Sony IMX866V camera sensor, the Neo 8 will have a different primary lens. For enhanced photography, the device will be equipped with the Vivo V1+ ISP.
