A new Redmi tablet with model number 23073RPBFG was spotted at EEC certification last week. While there is no word on its official marketing, it could be the upcoming Redmi Pad 2 tablet. Now, in a new tweet, tipster Kacper Skrzypek has leaked the key specifications of the Redmi Pad 2. It will be the second Redmi-branded tablet after the Helio G99-powered Redmi Pad, which was announced in October 2022. Here is a look at what’s known about the Redmi Pad 2.
Redmi Pad 2 specifications (rumored)
As per the tipster, the Redmi Pad 2 will feature a 10.95-inch LCD panel. It will offer a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.
On the front, the Redmi Pad 2 will have a 5-megapixel camera. Its back panel will feature an 8-megapixel camera. The device will come preloaded with Android 13 OS.
The Snapdragon 680 chipset will be the Redmi Pad 2’s power source. At present, there is no information on its RAM, storage, battery, or charging capabilities. Now that the tipster has leaked the key specifications of the Redmi Pad 2, it appears that it may launch as early as the third quarter of the year.
To recall, the original Redmi Pad featured a 10.61-inch IPS LCD panel that offers 1200 x 2000 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Helio G99-powered device came equipped with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. It featured an 8-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. It was backed by an 8,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
