Third generation Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset goes official
On 6 September 2022, Qualcomm announced its mid-range Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The powerful CPU captivated the market as everyone wondered about the possible enhancement in performance.
As different companies are working on using Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset in their devices, Motorola has already executed the same. Motorola announced their third generation Moto G Stylus 5G on 30 May 2023. The exciting part about the launch is that the device would be launched with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It would be one of the first such devices.
The announcement has made netizens in awe, as it still feels like yesterday when Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 was introduced.
Some of the significant features of the third-generation Moto G Stylus 5G are discussed below.
Firstly, the phone features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD presenting FHD+ resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate. The cameras in the phone are a 50 MP back camera with f/1.88 aperture, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 16 MP front camera.
It would run on Android 13 with a layer of Motorola’s MyUX interface on top. The company has ensured one major Android update along with 3 years of security updates. A 5,000 mAh battery would power the phone with 20W charging facility. To add to it, the device possesses stereo speakers, a headphone jack, and a microSD card slot.
The third generation Moto G Stylus 5G would be available in Cosmic Black and Rose Champagne colors. The availability of the phone in India hasn’t been announced so far. However, it would be available in the US at a price of $399 from June 2 at Cricket Wireless. Starting from June 16, the unlocked variant of the phone would be available at Motorola, Amazon, and Bestbuy.
