The Tensor G3 processor received a Geekbench 5 score of 1186 for single-core testing. On the other hand, for multi-core testing, it received a score of 3809. The Tensor G3 provides a base frequency of 2.15 GHz with 9 cores. These 9 cores are broken down into 4 cores @ 2.15 GHz, 4 cores @ 2.45 GHz, and 1 core @3.02 GHz.
A Twitter user shared that the results were not surprising as it is built from the Exynos 2200. Exynos 2200 is known for generating heating and thermal issues. This makes the processor stand far on par with Apple or SDG83. The user mentioned that the Tensor G3 is still lacking behind by 2-3 gens.
Another Twitter user shared a screenshot mentioning that Exynos is dying.
