Vivo Y36 4G Indian Launch Tipped to Take Place in Mid June

Vivo’s latest Y series smartphone, the Vivo Y36 4G has been tipped to have its launch in the Indian market in the mid half of this month.

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Vivo has already launched its Y36 4G smartphone in Indonesia and the device has been listed on the brand’s official website in the Philippines. Very recently, the smartphone made its way to the BIS Indian certification website, confirming its Indian launch and following this, the launch time frame of the smartphone in the Indian market has been tipped.

The update comes from the well-known tipster on the Twitter platform, Paras Guglani who has tipped that the smartphone is expected to have its launch this month, in the mid-half of June 2023. Along with the launch time frame, the tipster has also shared some of the specifications of the smartphone which were previously revealed.

The latest Vivo Y36 5G smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and will run on the Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 custom UI.

For its display, the smartphone will be featuring a 6.64″ full HD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Regarding its cameras, at its rear, the smartphone will have a dual camera setup with a main camera of 50MP along with a 2MP additional camera. The device also has a front-facing camera of 16MP as well.

For a better battery life, the device is backed by a 5000 mAh battery which supports a fast charge feature of upto 44W.

Apart from this, the device supports Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.1 and will have NFC support. It is only 8.07 mm thick and weighs 202 grams.

Unlike the color variants that are offered in the Indonesian and Philippines market(Glitter Aqua and Meteor Black), the tipster states that the device in the Indian market is expected to be made available in Black and Gold color options. The smartphone has also been also tipped to have a price in between Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 20,000.

For those of you who didn’t know, Vivo’s Y36 series also includes the Y36 5G smartphone as well, and the device has already made its appearance on several certification platforms including Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, Singapore’s IMDA certification, Bluetooth SIG certification, and also on the Google Play Console listing. The rebadged version of the Y36 5G, the Vivo V27 5G has also now made its appearance on a few official platforms.
