OxygenOS 13.1 Update Rolled-Out to OnePlus Pad Tablet: Cellular Data Sharing and Multiscreen Connection Features
OnePlus has started to roll out the OxygenOS 13.1 update to its OnePlus Pad device bringing cellular data sharing and multiscreen connection features to the device.

OnePlus Pad OxygenOS 13.1 Update
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, OnePlus unveiled its very first tablet device this year, the OnePlus Pad and the brand has started to roll out the OxygenOS 13.1 update to its tablet device. The OxygenOS 13.1 update brings two new features to the device, cellular data sharing, and multiscreen connection features, enabling its users to have more functionality on the device.
The cellular data sharing feature that has been introduced lets OnePlus Pad users connect to the OnePlus smartphone and use its mobile data without having to turn on its hotspot. Users will just have to log in to the same OnePlus account on both devices and turn on both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Then they will have to activate quick connect and auto connect features and following which, they should enable mobile data sharing, call sharing, and message sharing functions on the multiscreen connect setting. Disconnect Wi-Fi connectivity on the OnePlus Pad and users will be able to access cellular connection on the tablet.
The latest update as mentioned also brings auto connect and relay playing features which will enable multiscreen capabilities on the device. Users will just have to turn on Bluetooth, quick connect, and auto connect settings on the two devices, and when placed in closed proximity, the devices will get connected with each other.
It should be noted that the feature is only supported in OnePlus smartphones which include the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 10T, OnePlus 10Pro, OnePlus 10R, OnePlus 9RT, OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9Pro, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8Pro and the OnePlus 8T smartphones running on OxygenOS 13.1.
