Motorola Defy 2 spotted on Google Play Console listing with another moniker Defy X
Motorola and Bullitt launched the world’s first Android phone Motorola Defy 2 with two-way satellite texting built in from the get-go. This smartphone is marketed as CAT S75 in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Its sale has not yet started and is expected to start in Q3 2023. Motorola Defy 2 features have already been confirmed earlier.
Recently this smartphone has been spotted on Google Play Console revealing nothing new as such in features but something interesting. This smartphone has also been spotted with another moniker Defy X on the Google Play Console listing which is quite unusual. Now either this “Defy X” can be a rebranded version of the Motorola Defy 2 or another marketing name.
Its listing brings out that this smartphone will pack 6GB RAM and will run Android 12 out of the box. It also revealed that this smartphone will be powered by a processor codenamed Mediatek MT6855 which is Mediatek 930 octa-core processor. It also brought out that its display will sport 1080*2408 pixels resolution and 400 screen density(DPI).
Other specs
This smartphone sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ display, with a 20:9 aspect ratio and up to 120 Hz refresh rate. This smartphone is designed to withstand drops and falls with a rugged design. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with up to 2 days of power and support for 15W fast charging and Qi wireless charging.
As far as the camera is concerned it comes with a triple camera array including a 50 MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2 MP macro sensor. The front side of the smartphone sports an 8 MP camera. It is committed to receiving two OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
