Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Spotted on Geekbench: Some of its Key Specs Revealed
The South Korean based multi-national tech company, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 5, one of the brand’s upcoming foldable devices soon, and the device is expected to have its launch this month, by the last week of July, 2023.
Now ahead of its official launch, the smartphone has made it to the Geekbench database, revealing its performance specs and some of its other key specifications.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Appears on Geekbench
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone has made its way to the Geekbench database, with the model number, SM-F96B and has scored a single core score of 1855 points and a multi core score of 5159 points. Just to add, the device was also previously spotted on another benchmark with a different model number.
Along with its performance, we have also come across few of its other key specifications as well on the benchmark. The upcoming foldable device will run on the Android 13 based operating system and has a motherboard codenamed, kalama.
About its core architecture, the device will have a core configuration of 1 + 4 + 3 cores with its primary core clocked at 3.36 GHz. Four of its performance cores have a clock speed of 2.80 GHz while its three efficiency or base cores are clocked at 2.01 GHz. The benchmark also reveals the smartphone to have a 12GB RAM variant as well.

Apart from the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has also received a few certifications and had also made its appearance on other official databases. The smartphone has already received the 3C certification from China, BIS Indian certification, Thailand’s NBTC certification and also the FCC certification. The first OneUI 5.1.1 test builds have also been spotted on Samsung servers.
For those of you who didn’t know, the 5K renders and the 360 degree video of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 had also leaked online two months back, revealing its design specs.
Regarding its specifications, the foldable is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will be a 5G device with support to 6G network bands. It will also have an S-Pen support along with a wireless reverse charging feature.
