Upcoming Google Pixel 8 Specifications, Price and Expected Launch Time Frame Tipped

Google is expected to launch its Pixel 8 series smartphones this year and the series will include two smartphones, as per what we know now. The Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro smartphones are the two upcoming devices and ahead of its launch, the specifications, price, and the expected launch time frame of the Pixel 8 smartphone has been tipped.

Upcoming Google Pixel 8 Smartphone

This new update comes from the tipster, Yogesh Brar and to add, some of the specifications that have been tipped, were previously shared by us.

As per what has been tipped, the Pixel 8 smartphone is expected to arrive equipped with the Google Tensor G3 chipset and is likely to run on the latest Android 14 operating system.

The upcoming Pixel 8 smartphone is also expected to feature an OLED display panel with a screen size of 6.17 inches and is likely to have an FHD+ screen resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Regarding the cameras, the smartphone is expected to sport a dual camera setup at its rear. It has been tipped to have a 50MP GN2 main camera with OIS support, along with a 12MP ultrawide camera. A selfie cam of 11MP has also been tipped.

About its battery, the tipster mentions that it is likely to pack a 4485 mAh battery which supports a 24W wired fast charge feature and a 12W wireless charging feature. The WPC certification the device has received, confirms its wireless charging spec.

As mentioned, along with the expected specifications, the price point and the launch time frame of the smartphone has also been tipped. The device is expected to launch early in the month of October with an expected price point of $649 or $699

Already the design renders and the stock wallpapers of the upcoming Pixel 8 smartphone were shared and an idea about its appearance has been formed. The specs that has been tipped along with the added extra information that is available now, also gives a picture of how improved the device will be, compared to its predecessor.
