Infinix GT Series Smartphones Coming Soon to India: Officially Announced

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Infinix will be launching its latest Infinix GT series smartphones soon, featuring the brand’s first-ever GT series smartphones and now Infinix has officially announced the arrival of the series to the Indian shores as well via its official Indian Twitter handle.

Here’s more about it.

Infinix GT Series Coming Soon to India

Infinix India has now officially announced the launch of the GT series smartphones in India and has shared a teaser video for the upcoming series. The teaser video reveals the camera module of the upcoming smartphones with the taglines “Not For the Faint Heart” and “GT Coming Soon”.

Apart from this nothing much has been revealed by Infinix on the recent tweet. However, we had come across a few exciting updates regarding the upcoming smartphones of the GT 10 series in the past few days. The live shots of two of the upcoming smartphones – Infinix GT 10 Pro and Infinix GT 10 Pro+ were shared online, which revealed the front and rear sides of the two devices.

Here’s what has been revealed so far

Both smartphones have a unique rectangular-shaped camera module, as depicted in the teaser video, housing three cameras and a circular ring LED flashlight. At the front, the two smartphones also have a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera as well. The GT 10 Pro was seen to have a black rear panel but the other smartphone, the GT 10 Pro+ is to feature an LED lighting system at its rear (similar to Nothing smartphones), with orange patterns all over.

Coming to the specifications that have been revealed, the GT 10 Pro smartphone has been revealed to feature an FHD+ display, a 108MP triple camera setup, and a 32MP front-facing camera. It has also been revealed to be equipped with the Dimensity 1300 chipset and will have 8GB(inbuilt)+8GB(virtual) RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone is also to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery.

Regarding the other smartphone, the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ too has almost similar specifications but with a Dimensity 8050 chipset. The live shot reveals a storage option with internal storage of 128GB but as it is the Pro+ model, 256GB is expected. The two devices are also revealed to run on the Android 13-based XOS 13.0 and XOS 13.1 custom UIs, respectively.

It should however be noted that an Indian tipster had tipped the GT 10 Pro smartphone to feature the Dimensity 8050 chipset, the same chipset which powers the GT 10 Pro+ model, unlike what was revealed on the live shot. He further also added that the smartphone is going to be backed by a 7000 mAh battery with two fast charging variants – 160W and 260W. Again for the cameras too, the tipster has tipped the smartphone to sport a 108MP + 8MP + 8MP triple camera setup. The GT 10 Pro+ smartphone has also been mentioned not to have its sale in the Indian market.

It is likely that the Indian variant of the GT 10 Pro smartphone might be different from the variant which appeared in the live shot, but this is just an assumption and we’ll have to wait until more updates arrive to confirm its specifications. The upcoming GT 10 Pro smartphone, as per the tipster, is also going to be India’s first 26GB RAM smartphone.

The tipster had also suggested the global launch of the series to take place likely in the month of August and in the Indian market, the series might probably have its launch in the next two months. With more future updates, we’ll be able to know more about Infinix’s upcoming GT series smartphones and their specs.
