Oppo can make available Oppo A78 4G smartphone in India by next week

The Chinese consumer electronic maker, Oppo is nowadays busy in refreshing its A series smartphones with its new variant. Recently it launched Oppo 58 4G smartphone in Indonesia and then it launched the 4G variant of Oppo A78 in Indonesia.

Now Oppo is reportedly gearing up for the launch of the Oppo A78 4G smartphone in India. Oppo has just launched this smartphone in the Philippines for PHP 13,999. As per tipster Mukul Sharma, this smartphone will be available offline next week in India and the price could be around Rs 18,000 to Rs 20,000.

Features and specs

It won’t be easy for Oppo to convince buyers in India to buy a 4G smartphone at this price. As far as its specs are concerned this smartphone comes with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that sports 2400*1080p resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone delivers an immersive and clear sound quality with Dual Stereo Speakers and Real HD Sound 3.0. It is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports up to 8 hours of gaming, 23 hours of phone calls, or 16 hours of continuous video calls according to Oppo.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and packs 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1 TB with an SD card. This smartphone runs ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13.

As far as the camera is concerned this smartphone comes with a dual camera setup on the rear side featuring a 50 MP AI main camera and a 2 MP depth camera. The front side of the smartphone boasts an 8 MP selfie camera.

This smartphone has been launched so far in Aqua Green and Mist Black and is available for buyers in Indonesia and the Philippines.
