Vivo V29 5G Spotted on Google Play Console with Snapdragon 778G 5G
The Vivo V29 series is eagerly awaited for its global launch, with the company having previously released a trailer hinting at its imminent release. This series includes the Vanialla V29, V29 Pro,V29e and V29 Lite, already launched in the Czech market. Today, The Tech Outlook team spotted the vanilla V29 on the Google Play Console listing with the model number V2250, which revealed some of its expected specifications.
So what did we find in the Google Play Console Listing?
According to the Google Play Console listing, the smartphone is likely to come with 7.6-7.7 GB of RAM, which will be marketed as an 8GB RAM variant. Additionally, it will run on Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, straight out of the box.
Coming to its powerhouse, the listing reveals that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm SM7325 processor, specifically the Snapdragon 778G 5G. Interestingly, this is a 2-year-old processor that Vivo has chosen to use for the V29, paired with the GPU Adreno 642J.
Design Revealed
The design of the Vivo V29 bears a striking resemblance to that of the Vivo S17, which had been previously launched in the Chinese market. As seen in the listing, the V29 will feature an OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) camera, much like the Vivo S17. It’s worth noting that while the Chinese version of the phone sports the Qualcomm SM7325-AE Snapdragon 778G+ 5G processor, the V29 listed may come equipped with the Snapdragon 778G 5G variant.
Expected release
Since the phone has already made it to the Google Play Console listing, it suggests that we may see this smartphone in the markets as early as next month, which is August.
