OnePlus Ace 2 Pro to launch in August with industry’s largest heat dissipation unit
During the ongoing 2023 ChinaJoy tech exhibition in China, OnePlus has confirmed some details about its upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The company confirmed that the device will debut in August, and it also said that it will be equipped with industry’s largest heat dissipation unit.
The company claimed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is equipped with a Taingong cooling system, a first-of-its-kind innovation. As per the brand, this advanced cooling technology is leagues ahead of its competitors, surpassing the industry’s most powerful VC by at least two generations.
The cooling system’s VC area is an impressive 9140mm², the only one of its kind to reach the 10,000-level in the industry. Combining an integrated dual-circulation heat dissipation system with the innovative Laval air channel, it sets a new standard for spatial structure.
OnePlus has left no stone unturned in their pursuit of efficient heat dissipation, introducing aerospace-grade diamond thermally conductive gel and aerospace-grade superconducting thermal graphite – a global first in the smartphone market.
In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station said that the device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 24 GB of RAM. As per reports, the device will a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will offer up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage and pack a 5,500mAh battery with 150W charging. For photography, the device will have a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 48-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 32-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit on the back. The device is expected to get rebranded as the OnePlus 12R in the global market.
