Upcoming OPPO A2 Display Specs Tipped Ahead of Launch: Might have its Debut in August

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, OPPO is going to launch the successor of its A1 smartphone – the OPPO A2, as per what is now known, and ahead of its launch, the display specs of the smartphone have been tipped.

Very recently, an OPPO smartphone got listed on the TENAA database with model number – PJG110, and now the device is expected to be the OPPO A2 smartphone that is likely to have its launch soon in the Chinese market.

This update comes from Digital Chat Station, a tipster on the Weibo platform, who has also shared the display specs of the upcoming smartphone. The tipster states that OPPO’s A2 smartphone has been codenamed “Givenchy” and is going to feature a 6.7″ curved-edged OLED display panel. The display is also expected to have a 1080 x 2412 pixels full HD+ resolution and is likely to support a 2160Hz PWM dimming.

The tipster has also mentioned that the device will have a new primary camera and a large battery, however, nothing much about it has been shared. If we look at the previous OPPO A1 smartphone, the smartphone arrived with a 50MP main camera and packs a 5000 mAh battery. To add, the TENAA images of the smartphone have confirmed that the device will have a circular rear camera module in comparison to the pill-shaped camera module of the OPPO A1.
