Prashan Bhushan slammed after he said that Covid-19 was ‘dying naturally,’ he wanted money from the vaccine to be used for the farmers’ MSP
‘PIL Activist’ Prashant Bhushan seems to have lost control of his mental faculties, causing him to think logically at some point in time. He has now proposed that the financial resources allocated to Covid-19 vaccines in the Union Budget 2021 should be transferred to migrant workers and farmers because Covid-19 was “naturally dying” in the region.
The controversial activist said that, “FM announces 35,000 Cr of our money to be spent on Pvt Vaccine Companies for untested Vaccines at a time when Covid is naturally dying down in India! But this money cannot be given to poor migrant labour who lost their jobs or to Farmers for MSP on their crops. Wah FM sahiba!”
His ludicrous statement drew sharp responses on social media from people who were not too pleased with the line of reasoning that Prashan Bhushan had embraced.
While it is possible that Covid-19 cases have seen a drastic decrease in recent months, promoting the allocation of vaccine money to MSPs for farmers and migrant workers is no less than stupid. In the Union budget for 2021, ample finances have already been provided to farmers and other welfare schemes.
Criticizing Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the allocation of financial capital to the Covid-19 vaccine seems to be the height of insanity.
