Moto G14 Smartphone Launching Tomorrow: Here’s Everything We Know So Far

Speaking firstly about its certifications, we spotted the Moto G14 smartphone on various certification platforms and including its appearance on the EEC, TDRA, FCC, and BIS certification platforms. Its listing on the FCC database had also revealed some of its specifications and it was with its appearance on the BIS Indian certification platform that its Indian launch was confirmed.
We were able to come across more about its specifications with its leaked marketing materials reported exclusively by us to our readers, following which the device got listed on the Flipkart shopping website. Before its listing on Flipkart, Motorola India had also teased the upcoming smartphone via its official Twitter handle mentioning that “Something Hatke is on the Way”. Again, just a few days ahead of its launch, we had exclusively revealed more of its marketing images.

Moto G14 Specifications
The Moto G14 smartphone will be powered by the Unisoc T616 octa-core processor and will run on the Android 13-based operating system. The device has also been confirmed to receive the next Android 14 update, along with 3 years of security updates. The upcoming smartphone will also be coupled with a RAM of 4GB and will have a UFS 2.2 internal storage of 128GB, expandable to upto 1TB via a microSD card.
Motorola’s G14 smartphone will also be a 4G device with 2G, 3G, and 4G network connectivity. It will also have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity support as well. The device will have a card tray that can occupy two nano SIM cards and a microSD card at the same time.
For its display, the Moto G14 smartphone will be featuring a full HD+ display with a screen size of 6.5″ and has been tipped to be an IPS LCD display panel. Regarding its cameras, the smartphone is confirmed to have a 50MP dual camera setup supporting Quad Pixel technology which will support both macro and night vision camera modes. The additional camera is expected to be a 2MP camera and for selfies, the device is likely to offer an 8MP front-facing camera.
Now coming to its battery backup, the device will pack a 5000 mAh decent battery and will support a 20W TurboPower fast charge feature. A talk time of 34 hours and a USB type-C charging port has also been assured. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a face recognition feature.
The Moto G14 smartphone will have an IP52-rated water-repellent design and will be available in four colour choices of Black, Blue, Gold, and Beige. However, it should be noted that its listing on the Flipkart shopping website only reveals the smartphone to have two color variants – Black and Blue. As far as its price is concerned, the device will be having a budget price point and has been tipped to come around between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 11,000.
