Honor VCA-AN00 foldable phone with outward folding design bags MIIT certification
A new Honor device with model number VCA-AN00 has surfaced in the database of China’s MIIT certification. Unfortunately, the listing has no details about the specifications of the device. However, rumours surrounding it claim that it will be yet another foldable phone from the brand.
Honor has recently launched the Honor Magic V2 foldable phone in the Chinese market, and now it appears it may launch one more foldable phone before the end of this year. The CMIIT certified VCA-AN00 phone reportedly has the “Victoria” codename.
What’s interesting about the Honor VCA-AN00 is that it will be Honor’s first foldable phone with an outward folding design like the Huawei Mate XS 2. There is no official confirmation of the existence of the device, but rumours claim that it could be called the Honor Magic Vs 2 when it arrives in the Chinese market. It is advisable to wait for further reports to learn more about Magic Vs 2.
In related news, Honor is gearing up for the global launch of the Magic V2. The company will hold its keynote on Sept. 1 at the IFA 2023 tech exhibition. The Magic V2 will be the company’s first foldable phone for the global market. It features a 7.92-inch foldable 120Hz 2K display, a 6.43-inch MOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 50-megapixel triple rear cameras, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging, MagicOS 7.2-based Android 13, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
