Vivo V29e Smartphone Finally Debuts in India: Price Starting at ₹26,999

The Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, has finally debuted its V29e smartphone in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 26,999. Two color variants and two storage options are available for the device, and the pre-bookings have already begun.

Vivo’s latest V29e smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and has a primary clock speed of 2.2GHz. It runs on the Funtouch OS 13 custom UI based on the Android 13 operating system. The device is available in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage options, with 8GB virtual RAM support.

For its display, the smartphone features a 3D curved AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.78″. The display also has an FHD+ screen resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

At its rear, the device sports a 64MP OIS dual camera setup with an additional 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, a front-facing camera of 50MP is also provided.

Regarding the battery, it has a battery backup of 5,000 mAh(min. 4,900 mAh) and supports a 44W fast charging feature.

Other features include Wi-Fi connectivity with dual-band support, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB type-C port, GPS and various other location positioning systems, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a few other sensors. To note, the V29e smartphone is a 5G device with 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network connectivity support.

The smartphone comes in two color choices – Artistic Red and Artistic Blue.

Vivo V29e 8GB/128GB variant is introduced for a price of Rs. 26,999, whereas the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs. 28,999. The smartphone will be available on Vivo’s official Indian website, Flipkart’s shopping website, and will also be available at nearby retail stores.

The pre-bookings have already started and the device will be made available on the 7th of September, next month. Multiple bank offers and additional discounts are also listed along with the newly unveiled smartphone, and customers will be able to get the brand-new device at an even lower price.
